"Soap-Pourri" Sachets
When I first began making soap I would give my friends a bar or two for use as well as for their honest feedback and suggestions. Many times as I asked ‘what did you think of the soap?’ the answer I would get was ‘not yet, it smells too good’! Right away I knew I needed to find a remedy for this so I saved all the scraps that are generated as a result of the beveling I do to each and every bar. Colorful organza bags hold the soap pieces well and make the perfect sachet for lingerie drawers or linen closets. A friend of mine carries them in the car for a nice fresh fragrance and to ease nasty exhaust fumes.
